Henry⁴ Katrein (Nikolaus³, Jacob², Michael¹) was born Nov 16, 1878 in Romania, near Arad, and died Jan 15, 1949 in Almena, Wis (county of Barron) Cemetary.  He married Minnie Leifel.  She was born Abt. 1881 in Per Almena Centennial April 2002, and died Apr 22, 1946 in Almena, Wis (county of Barron) Cemetary.  Family members who remember Henry said he was a Farrier, and thought he was a horse vet., some people in Cumberland, WI. told me they thought he was a doctor.  His request for naturalization which I found on  ironrangeresearch shows his signature written like calligraphy.

I think Aunt Lena and Aunt Kate worked hard at raising both families.
